“Dentro y Fuera” are two plays in one, the actors enter and exit each of them as they do from fiction to reality and vice versa.
An alternative theater company has finally put on a commercial play, a bright and sophisticated comedy, a sure success. It's just not being a success.
While on stage we see four characters drinking champagne and admiring the Eiffel Tower, in the dressing rooms we peer into the lives of four people who are completely disoriented and adrift. This is a performance about a performance, the set and the stage, the front and back of a play. The lives of a group of actors who represent themselves trying to represent others.

SYNOPSIS

"I've lost the right to be vulnerable and I've had to become a rock..."

Lorca stated on several occasions that Yerma had a theme but not a specific plot. In this free adaptation by Jose Luis Algar, developed from conversations with the actress, the main themes - motherhood, sexual frustration, dysfunctional relationships, passion, appearances... - are extracted to construct a theatrical monologue with a completely new text performed by Anna Allen (known for Cuéntame, Acusados, Paquita Salas, Antígona del siglo XXI / Festival de Mérida...), who gives voice, body, and soul to this Yerma with the spirit of a narrator establishing direct contact with the audience, seeking complicity, and opening up while reflecting on her life with its faint lights and enormous shadows.

They call us marujas in the neighborhood... I don't know why, because marujas what they say marujas, we are. A little lizards? Well yes. That sometimes our tongue slips? Well too! We are harmless, but remember, if you mess with one girl, you mess with them all.

From a young age, Noemí and Andrea have based their friendship on the simple fact that one of them is just two years older than the other.

This almost sisterly friendship begins to crack when Noemí, the younger one, starts dating increasingly older men—transferring onto them the admiration she once had for her friend—which Andrea views unfavorably.

However, it isn't until one of these men—late at night, in the midst of the worst snowstorm of the century, and right after being with Noemí—suddenly runs out of the girls' house with an extremely questionable excuse, that they both initiate a discussion that will cost them their friendship.

To what extent should we continue listening to the problems of the other person if they always ignore our advice? Is it permissible to disrespect someone as a method to make them see reason?
